None of the boots in this collection are fitted with a waterproof membrane, so we won't claim otherwise. The Montana and Andalucia styles do include a moisture-wicking Therma-Tex layer, which helps manage sweat and keeps feet feeling drier during long days, but this is a comfort feature rather than waterproofing. For genuinely wet conditions, we'd recommend pairing any of these boots with a good wax or waterproofing spray and treating the leather regularly.

Both the Montana Riding Boots and Andalucia Boots are available in a wide calf fitting alongside the standard option, so you can pick the fit that matches your leg shape rather than forcing a snug boot to stretch over time. The Andalucia goes a step further with its full leg lace system, giving up to 3.5cm of adjustable width if your calves fall between standard and wide.

If you're not sure whether standard or wide calf is right for you, the Andalucia Boots take the guesswork out of it. A full length lace system down the back of the leg lets you fine-tune the calf width by up to 3.5cm, then the rear OPTI zip pulls everything neatly into shape once you've found your fit.

• Graceland – full leather lining for breathability, with a removable X-comfort moulded insole for cushioning and shock absorption.
• Montana – natural sheepskin insole encasing the whole foot and heel, a built-in steel shank for arch support, and an integrated Therma-tex layer.
• Andalucia – super soft natural sheepskin insole, a gel insert heel for shock absorption, and a moulded shank for balance and stability.

Your foot should sit snugly in the boot with no slipping at the heel, while the calf should feel supportive without pinching behind the knee when you sit. If you tend to run wider through the calf, start with the wide fit on the Montana or Andalucia rather than sizing up the standard fit, as this keeps the foot sizing accurate while giving the leg more room. Wear the socks you'll actually ride in when you try boots on, and allow a little extra room for a riding sock or thin thermal liner in winter.

The Andalucia Boots use a full leg lace system giving up to 3.5cm of adjustable calf width, on top of the standard and wide fitting options.

Both use a sheepskin insole and Therma-Tex layer for warmth, but the Andalucia adds a laced calf for extra adjustability and a gel insert heel, while the Montana relies on its Duratred® outsole and steel shank for a firmer, more structured ride feel. The Montana is also available in blue as well as black and brown.

Snug at the foot with no heel slip, and supportive but not pinching at the calf when seated. Try boots on with the socks you'll actually ride in, and choose a wide or adjustable fit rather than a larger standard size if you're between calf widths.

Yes. All three styles are built for full days around the yard as well as time in the saddle, thanks to supportive insoles, moulded shanks and hard-wearing soles. They're smart enough for competition too, particularly the Graceland.
