Bareback uses EU sizing throughout, with UK conversions shown at checkout. Women’s UK 8 is EU 42, UK 9 is EU 43, UK 10 is EU 44, UK 11 is EU 45, and UK 12 is EU 46. Not every style in the full Bareback range goes above EU 42 — the products in this collection have been selected because they extend into the larger size range.

If you are between sizes, Bareback generally recommends sizing up rather than down, particularly in leather styles that fit more firmly at first. Leather will soften and mould with wear, so a snug fit from new is normal.

The Montana, Andalucia, Graceland, Nebraska, Idaho Jodhpur, Bronx, Buffalo, and Toddy are not waterproof.

Several styles offer a wider calf or foot fitting alongside the standard fit:

• Montana (long) — standard and wide calf
• Andalucia (long) — standard, wide, and adjustable lace (up to 3.5cm extra width)
• Dakota (long) — standard and wide calf
• Quebec (mid-calf) — wide fit only
• Alaska Storm (mid-calf) — wide fit only

If your foot or calf is wider than standard across all sizes, the Quebec and Alaska Storm are designed from the ground up for wider widths. For leg dimensions that fall outside both standard and wide, the made-to-measure service offers the Georgia and Andalucia with the leg crafted to your exact measurements.

The range includes five long boot models in larger sizes:

• Montana — the most popular long riding boot in the range; non-waterproof, sheepskin insole, steel shank, standard and wide fit, three colours. Best for riding and country use in dry conditions.
• Andalucia — non-waterproof long boot with adjustable rear lace (up to 3.5cm extra calf width); sheepskin insole; Black and Brown. Best if you need calf flexibility or fall between standard and wide.
• Hudson Storm — waterproof (Wil-Tex) with sheep wool and Therma-tex lining; adjustable tasselled gusset; only in Chocolate. Best for cold, wet conditions and country shows.
• Dakota — waterproof (Wil-Tex) in a country boot height; standard and wide; Brown and Blue. Best for outdoor and yard work where full waterproofing is the priority.
• Graceland — non-waterproof field boot with a full leather lining and Vibram sole; elastic ankle lacing; Black and Brown. Best for smart equestrian occasions.

Not every style reaches UK 12 — size availability varies by style and stock. The collection has been curated to include boots that extend beyond the standard women's range (which typically tops out at EU 41 / UK 8), but the upper size available differs between models. Check the individual product page for current size availability. If a specific style you want is not showing your size, contact the team directly — some styles can be special-ordered.

No. Bareback's large sizes are the same boot in a bigger foot size — the same leather, the same construction, and the same features. There is no premium or surcharge for larger sizes, and the same free delivery and returns policy applies.

For in-saddle riding in larger sizes, the Montana and Andalucia are the most popular long boots with the correct height and steel shank for stirrup use. The Graceland is the smart field boot option with a Vibram sole. For jodhpur-height riding, the Idaho Storm (waterproof, spur rests) or Idaho Jodhpur (non-waterproof, front zip) are the main options.

Yes — the Montana comes in both standard and wide calf across the full size range, including the larger sizes. Black and Blue are available in standard and wide; Brown is available in standard and wide. Check the product page for current availability of your specific size and fit combination.

The standard Bareback free returns policy applies to all in-stock boots regardless of size — no premium for larger sizes. The exception is made-to-measure boots, which are non-refundable as they are produced to your individual measurements.
