Our Storm range — the Chatsworth Storm, Blair Storm, Kentucky Storm and Idaho Storm Waterproof Jodhpur Boots — all use a fully waterproof Wil-Tex membrane, so they're built for wet mucking out, hacking in the rain and standing around a soggy yard. The Chicago Waterproof Boots offer the same protection in a shorter ankle style.

The Montana Riding Boots, Kentucky Jodhpur Boots, Toddy Short Boots, Sovereign Suede Boots and Milan Long Dress Riding Boots aren't waterproof — they're best kept for dry riding, indoor arenas and everyday wear rather than standing out in the rain.

The Montana Riding Boots in Blue are the only wide-calf option in this collection, available in both Standard and Wide Calf fitting alongside the classic fit. If you need extra room around the calf, this is the one to try first.

For proper wet weather protection, reach for the Storm jodhpur boots — the Chatsworth Storm, Blair Storm, Kentucky Storm and Idaho Storm. All four use a sealed waterproof membrane and a gusseted zip or lace system to keep water out. For a shorter boot, the Chicago Waterproof Boots give the same weatherproofing in an ankle style.

Fit varies by style — check the fit note on each product page, as some run true to size while others run slightly large or small. The jodhpur boots (Kentucky, Chatsworth Storm, Blair Storm, Kentucky Storm) have fully adjustable laces or zips, so you can fine-tune the fit around your instep and ankle. If you're between sizes on the Sovereign or Montana, sizing tends to be generous, so it's usually worth sizing down.

Some are, some aren't. The Chatsworth Storm, Blair Storm, Kentucky Storm, Idaho Storm and Chicago Waterproof Boots all have a fully waterproof membrane. The Montana, Kentucky Jodhpur, Toddy, Sovereign and Milan boots are not waterproof and are better suited to dry conditions.

Both share the same adjustable lace fit, padded collar and X-comfort insole. The Kentucky Storm adds a fully waterproof Wil-Tex membrane and a polished navy finish, while the original Kentucky Jodhpur Boots prioritise breathability over waterproofing.

Yes — the Toddy Children's Short Boots in Blue offer the same non-slip rubber sole and breathable lining as the adult version, sized for children.
