Find your fit
Getting the right fit is simple. All you need is your foot length and width — and for long boots, your calf. Follow the three steps below and we'll take you to the boots that fit.
Measure a shoe that already fits
Your usual size is a starting point, but the most accurate way is to measure the insole of footwear you already find comfortable, then compare it to the size chart on the boot you want.
- 1Pick a good pair. Boots or shoes that feel right with the socks you'd normally wear. Slip the insole out if it lifts.
- 2Measure heel to toe. Along the insole, from the back of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. Keep it straight, in centimetres.
- 3Match the size chart. Open the size chart on the boot you want and find your length — or get in touch and we'll help.
Between two sizes, or one foot bigger?
Go by the longer foot and read the fit notes on the product. Soft leathers ease a little with wear, but a boot that's too short may never get comfortable.

Which width feels like you?
No tape measure needed. Just think about how the front of your foot usually feels in shoes, then start with the matching boots.
Two more measurements for long boots
Only if you're buying long riding boots, long country boots or half chaps. Shopping ankle boots? You can happily skip this bit.
- ·Wear the socks or legwear you'd normally ride or work in, and sit with your knee bent.
- ·Calf width: measure right around the widest part of your calf.
- ·Boot height: measure from the floor to the crease behind your knee.
- ·Measure both legs and go by the wider calf, then check both numbers against the product size chart.
