Slip on Waterproof Boots

Every boot in this collection except one uses a genuine waterproof membrane or lining, most commonly our Wil-Tex® or W-Tex® membrane. The Quebec range, Vancouver Storm, Dakota, Ottawa Storm and Vermont Storm are all confirmed waterproof from the product specification.

The Detroit Steel Toe Cap Work Boots are built with a breathable lining for site safety rather than a waterproof membrane, so we don't badge them as waterproof. If wet-weather protection is your priority, choose one of the other models in this range instead.

If you need more room around the calf, the Dakota Waterproof Country Boots come in Standard and Extra Wide Calf fittings, so you can pick the size that matches your leg rather than compromising on comfort.

For a wider foot or a high instep, the zip-up Quebec styles — Quebec Waterproof Zip Up Mid Calf Boots and Quebec Waterproof Zip Up Ankle Boots — use a side zip that opens the boot right up, making them easier to get on than a pull-on style if your foot or ankle needs the extra space.

For the yard and cold, wet mornings, the Ottawa Storm Waterproof Short Boots pair a genuine sheep wool lining with a fully waterproof membrane and a Dual Grip outsole that copes well underfoot in mud.

If you're after a taller boot for riding, the Vermont Storm Waterproof Long Riding Boots have a 2cm heel suited to the stirrup, a full-length side zip, and the same Dual Grip sole for security in and out of the saddle. The Dakota Waterproof Country Boots are a good all-round option for general country pursuits.

The original Quebec Waterproof Boots and Quebec Waterproof Ankle Boots use a rear pull tab and elasticated panel, so they go on in one motion with no laces or zips to fiddle with.

If you find a straight pull-on a bit snug, the zip-up Quebec models add a side zip for a wider opening, which is often easier if you have a high instep or reduced ankle mobility. The Vermont Storm Waterproof Long Riding Boots also use a full-length side zip, useful for a taller boot shaft.

All our slip-on and zip-up boots are designed to be worn with a normal sock thickness rather than bulky socks, since the waterproof lining already adds warmth. Choose your usual UK shoe size as a starting point.

The Dakota Waterproof Country Boots offer a genuine Extra Wide Calf option, while several Quebec styles carry a Wide Fit for a roomier foot and ankle. The Dakota Waterproof Country Boots are our only style with a dedicated Extra Wide Calf fitting alongside Standard, so they're the best choice if calf room is your main concern.
