Leather Dubbin and Polish

Clean off dirt and let the leather dry first. Using a soft cloth or your fingers, work a thin layer of luxury dubbin into the leather, paying attention to seams and welts where water gets in. Leave it to soak in for a few hours, then buff off any excess. Dubbin nourishes and waterproofs but can darken leather slightly, so test on a hidden area first.

Our premium wax polish comes in six colours to match or refresh your leather. Apply a small amount with a cloth in circular motions, allow it to dry, then buff with a brush or soft cloth for a lasting shine. Wax builds a protective barrier against scuffs and light rain, and regular thin coats give better results than one heavy layer.

Use dubbin when you want to feed, soften and waterproof leather, especially on hard-working boots. Use wax polish when you want colour, shine and a smart finish. Many people use both: dubbin now and then for conditioning, and polish more regularly to keep boots looking sharp.

For boots in frequent use, a light polish every week or two keeps them protected, with a deeper dubbin conditioning every few weeks or after heavy wet-weather wear. Always let boots dry naturally, away from direct heat, before treating them.
