The rest of the range, including the Idaho Jodhpur, Montana, Andalucia, Graceland, Georgia and Milan, use breathable or moisture-wicking linings rather than a waterproof membrane. These are comfortable for everyday schooling and hacking, but they are not built to be worn as wellingtons in standing water. Jodhpur boots, such as the Idaho Jodhpur, Idaho Storm, Chatsworth Storm, Kentucky Storm and Blair Storm, sit at the ankle and are quick to slip on for yard chores or shorter riding sessions.

Long riding boots, like the Montana, Andalucia, Graceland, Georgia, Vermont Storm and Milan, run up to the knee for extra leg protection during longer sessions or in the show ring. If a standard calf feels tight, the Montana Riding Boots come in both standard and wide fittings, and the Andalucia Boots use a full-leg lace system for up to 3.5cm of adjustable calf width.

Among the jodhpur styles, the Kentucky Storm uses fully adjustable laces for the most flexible fit, while the Idaho Storm, Chatsworth Storm and Blair Storm all offer some give through a gusseted zip.

Riding boots should sit snugly around the calf without pinching behind the knee, with enough room to flex your ankle comfortably in the stirrup. If you're between calf widths, look at an adjustable-lace or stretch-panel style, such as the Andalucia or Kentucky Storm, rather than sizing up in a standard fit.

Both are fully waterproof with a Wil-Tex® membrane and memory foam X-comfort insole. The main difference is the fastening: the Kentucky Storm uses fully adjustable laces with a side zip, while the Blair Storm uses a simpler adjustable zip closure without laces.
