Riding Boot Shop & Fitting Service, Worcestershire
Our showroom is on the Maylite Trading Estate in Martley, eight miles north-west of Worcester. Every boot we make is here in stock, in every size and width we produce — so you can put them on your own leg before you commit to a pair.
Buying riding boots online is mostly guesswork about calf width and height. A fitting takes the guesswork out. There is no charge for it and no obligation to buy.
What happens at a fitting
It takes about half an hour and it is not a sales pitch. Call ahead on 01886 888873 and we will have your sizes out ready, so you are not waiting while someone digs through the racking.
We measure you properly
Calf circumference at the widest point, calf height from the floor to the back of the knee, and foot length. These three numbers decide whether a boot works on you, and almost nobody measures all three at home.
You try the shortlist on
We pull the styles that suit your measurements and what you actually ride in. You put them on, walk in them, and sit in them.
We check the fit at the knee
A boot that feels fine standing in a shop can dig in once your leg is bent around a saddle. We check for that before you buy, not after.
If nothing fits, we say so
Some legs are not standard, and there is no point selling somebody a boot that will rub. That is what the made-to-measure service is for.
Made-to-measure boots
If your calf falls outside our stock range, or you want a particular leather or colour, we make boots to your own measurements.
We take those measurements here in the showroom, which is considerably more reliable than you taking them at home with a tape measure and a mirror.

The trading estate is signposted off the main road through Martley. If you are using a satnav, WR6 6PQ will bring you to the estate entrance.
From Worcester
8 miles · approx. 20 min
Head north-west out of the city on the A443 towards Tenbury Wells, then follow the signs for Martley.
From Malvern
13 miles · approx. 30 min
North through Leigh Sinton and Alfrick, then on into Martley village.
From Bromyard
10 miles · approx. 20 min
East along the B4204, which runs straight into Martley.
From Tenbury Wells
13 miles · approx. 25 min
South-east on the A443 towards Worcester, turning off for Martley.
