The Kentucky Storm and Idaho Storm jodhpur boots both use a fully waterproof membrane, while the Ottawa Storm short boots and Vermont Storm long boots add a waterproof lining with a warm wool or breathable inner. Everything else in this collection, including the Montana, Nebraska, Andalucia, Idaho, Bramham, Graceland, Kentucky Long, Lucianna and Milan, is built from leather with a breathable or moisture-wicking lining rather than a waterproof one — great for dry yards and hacking, but not designed to keep water out in the same way.

If a standard calf fit doesn't quite work for you, several boots in this collection give you more room to play with. The Montana and Lucianna are both available in standard and wide calf fittings. For a fully adjustable fit, the Andalucia has a full-length lace system giving up to 3.5cm of extra width, while the Kentucky Long, Kentucky Storm and Idaho Storm jodhpur boots all use adjustable lacing to suit standard through to wider calves.

For genuinely wet conditions, choose one of our Storm boots. The Kentucky Storm and Idaho Storm jodhpur boots are ideal for quick yard trips in the rain, while the Ottawa Storm short boot and Vermont Storm long boot add a wool or cushioned lining for warmth on longer, colder days outside.

If you're between calf widths, look at one of our adjustable or wide-fit options above rather than sizing up in a standard fit, which can leave the boot loose at the top. No. Only the Kentucky Storm, Idaho Storm, Ottawa Storm and Vermont Storm boots have a confirmed waterproof membrane or lining. The rest of the collection uses breathable or moisture-wicking leather linings, which are comfortable but not designed to keep out water in wet conditions.

The Montana and Lucianna both come in a wide calf fitting alongside their standard fit. The Andalucia, Kentucky Long and our Storm jodhpur boots use adjustable lacing that can also accommodate a wider calf.
