Only the Vermont Storm in this collection is built with a genuine waterproof lining, using a W-Tex® membrane with a gusseted zip to keep water out around the ankle. The Montana, Andalucia, Graceland and Milan are all leather styles with breathable, moisture-wicking linings rather than waterproof membranes – great for general riding and dry-to-damp conditions, but not designed for standing in wet fields or heavy rain. If you're regularly out in poor weather, the Vermont Storm is the one to choose.

The Montana Riding Boots come in both standard and wide calf fittings, so you can pick the size that matches your leg shape without compromising on the zip closing comfortably. The Andalucia Boots go a step further with a full-leg lace system giving up to 3.5cm of adjustable width, on top of standard and wide options – useful if your calf size changes with muscle tone or riding season. The Graceland, Vermont Storm and Milan are standard fit, with a smaller amount of built-in stretch via their side gussets.

• Montana – natural sheepskin insole with an integrated Therma-Tex layer and built-in steel shank for arch support.
• Andalucia – sheepskin insole, gel heel insert for shock absorption, and a moulded shank for stability.
• Graceland – full leather lining with a removable X-comfort moulded insole.
• Vermont Storm – waterproof W-Tex® lining with a suede-effect cushioned removable insole and a 2cm riding heel.
• Milan – full leather lining with a removable gel insole for cushioning.

For everyday schooling and general yard duties, the Montana is a dependable all-rounder with a grippy Duratred sole. If you want a smart boot for dressage or competition, the Graceland or Milan combine a leather lining with a Vibram® sole for a polished finish out of the saddle. Riders who find standard sizing doesn't quite fit should look at the Andalucia for its adjustable lacing. The Montana Riding Boots and Andalucia Boots both offer a wide calf fitting alongside standard sizing. The Andalucia also has an adjustable lace system for up to 3.5cm of extra width if you need a more precise fit.

Both are leather-lined field-style boots with a Vibram® sole, and both come in standard fit only. The Milan is cut for a high dressage-style side line and is currently in our clearance range with limited sizes available, while the Graceland is a full-price, everyday field boot with a curved OPTI zip and side spur rests.

They should sit snugly around the calf without gaping or pinching, with the top of the boot ending just below the knee. If you're between standard and wide fittings, or your calf size varies through the season, the Andalucia's adjustable lacing gives you room to fine-tune the fit after sizing up or down.

Yes. The Montana and Andalucia in particular are built with practical soles and supportive shanks that hold up well for daily yard duties, not just time in the saddle. The Vermont Storm is the best option if you're mucking out or doing yard work in wet conditions.

The Milan is part of our clearance range, so stock is limited to the sizes currently listed. Once a size sells out it won't be restocked, so it's worth checking availability before you commit if this is the style you want.
